专利说明:
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION The present disclosure relates to a device for filling cartridges for a writing instrument, such as a fountain pen, a ballpoint pen or any other writing instrument delivering an ink. liquid. In these types of writing instruments comprising an ink cartridge which is replaced by the user when the ink cartridge is empty, the choice of color is limited by the colors offered by the cartridge manufacturers d inks. [0003] Furthermore, when the ink cartridge is used, it must be used until the end and / or discard the ink cartridge when it is desired to change the color of ink, that is to say ie when you want to change the ink cartridge in the writing instrument. OBJECT AND SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present description aims to remedy these drawbacks at least in part. To this end, the present disclosure relates to a cartridge filling device for a writing instrument, the device comprising at least two separate connectors, a metering system for mother inks and a cartridge filling system, each connector being configured to connect a reservoir containing a mother ink to the cartridge. The writing instrument is a manual writing instrument, such as a fountain pen, a ballpoint pen or any other writing instrument delivering a liquid ink. The term “mother ink” means an ink which can be used directly by the user and which can be mixed with other mother inks, that is to say other inks which can be used directly by the user , in order to obtain a mixture of mother inks. It is understood that the mother inks which are mixed with one another have different colors or shades. It is understood that when the mother ink tank is connected to the connector, the mother ink contained in the mother ink tank can circulate in the device and reach the cartridge by passing through the metering system and into the system filling. The dosing system is configured to take a volume of mother ink from each mother ink tank connected to the device. It is understood that the metering system may not take a volume of mother ink from all the mother ink tanks connected to the device, that is to say that at least one of the volumes of mother ink withdrawn may be equal to zero. The filling system is configured to fill the cartridge with the volumes of mother ink taken from the mother ink tanks by the metering system. The mixing of the mother inks is thus carried out directly in the cartridge. It is therefore not necessary to rinse the device when it is desired to fill a cartridge with a different mixture of mother inks. By cartridge is meant a reservoir configured to be inserted into a writing instrument and containing an ink which is used by the writing instrument. The cartridge can be changed when it is empty or it can be refilled with ink. One can thus fill a cartridge with a mixture of mother inks without having to handle the mother inks. When the mother ink tanks are connected to the device, the mother ink volumes being taken up by the dosing system and sent into the cartridge by the filling system, the user does not have to handle the tanks mother ink. In some embodiments, the metering system includes a metering element for each mother ink tank. The metering element may for example be a piston with an actuator, a piezoelectric injection head, a thermal injection head or a solenoid valve. In some embodiments, each connector has an inlet shutter which can take an opening configuration or a closing configuration of the connector. Thus, when a mother ink tank is not connected to the connector, the input shutter closes the connector and the ink circuit in the device is not in communication with the outside. It is thus possible to prevent the mother ink contained in the device from drying out or at least reduce the drying speed of the mother ink in the device when a mother ink tank is not connected to the connector. In some embodiments, the device comprises an actuator of each inlet shutter, so that the inlet shutter automatically switches from the closed configuration to the open configuration of the connector when connecting d a mother ink tank with the connector and the input shutter automatically switches from the opening configuration to the closing configuration of the connector when a mother ink tank is disconnected with the connector. Thus, the user has no particular action to perform for the input shutter to pass from one configuration to another. When a mother ink tank is connected to the device, i.e. when a mother ink tank is inserted into the connector of the device, the input shutter automatically switches from from the closed configuration to the open configuration of the connector simply by inserting the mother ink reservoir into the connector of the device. Likewise, when the user removes, that is to say disconnects, the mother ink reservoir from the connector of the device, the input shutter automatically switches from the opening configuration to the closing configuration of the connector. simply by removing the mother ink tank from the device connector. In some embodiments, the device has three connectors. For example, when the device is configured to operate with cyan, yellow and magenta tanks. In some embodiments, the device has four connectors. For example, when the device is configured to operate with cyan, yellow, magenta and black tanks. In some embodiments, the device has five connectors. For example, when the device is configured to operate with cyan, yellow, magenta, black reservoirs and a fifth mother ink. The fifth mother ink can be transparent or white. In some embodiments, the filling system includes an outlet shutter which can take an opening configuration or a closing configuration of the filling system. Thus, when the device is not used and / or a cartridge is not connected to the device, the outlet shutter closes the filling system and the ink circuit in the device is not not in communication with the outside. It is thus possible to prevent the mother ink contained in the device from drying out or at least reduce the drying speed of the mother ink in the device when a cartridge is not connected to the device. In some embodiments, the device includes an actuator for the outlet shutter, so that the outlet shutter automatically switches from the closed configuration to the open configuration of the filling system during connection. of a cartridge with the filling system and the outlet shutter automatically changes from the opening configuration to the closing configuration of the filling system when a cartridge is disconnected from the filling system. Thus, the user has no particular action to perform for the output shutter to pass from one configuration to another. When connecting a cartridge to the filling system, that is to say when inserting a cartridge into the device, the outlet shutter automatically switches from the closed configuration to the configuration of opening of the filling system simply by inserting the cartridge into the device. Likewise, when the user removes, i.e. disconnects, the cartridge from the device's filling system, the outlet shutter automatically switches from the opening configuration to the closing configuration of the filling system simply removing the cartridge from the device. In some embodiments, the filling system includes a mixer. For example, the filling system may include a mixer configured to transmit mechanical vibrations to the cartridge and / or agitate the cartridge. One can also consider other modes of mixing. The present disclosure also relates to an assembly comprising a device as defined above and a plurality of mother ink tanks, each mother ink tank being connected to a connector of the device. In some embodiments, the assembly is configured to fill an empty cartridge with a mixture of mother inks, the cartridge having a volume greater than or equal to 0.50 ml (milliliter), preferably greater than or equal to 0.75 mL and less than or equal to 5 mL, preferably less than or equal to 3 mL. In some embodiments, the mother inks are aqueous inks. The ink generally comprises a dye and a solvent. The ink can also include a binder and / or additives. By aqueous ink is meant an ink in which the solvent is water and in which the dye is dissolved. These inks are inks which make it possible to limit the evaporation of the mother inks and of the mixture of mother inks obtained. Furthermore, these inks have viscosities close to the viscosity of water at 20 ° C, that is to say approximately 1 mPa.s (millipascal second) and can easily mix with each other. The present description also relates to a method of filling a cartridge for a writing instrument in an assembly as defined above, the method comprising the following steps: - metering by the metering system of the mother inks contained in each reservoir by sampling a volume of mother ink from each reservoir; - filling by the cartridge filling system with the volumes of mother ink withdrawn. In some embodiments, after filling the cartridge, a cap is assembled on the cartridge to close the cartridge. It is understood that the cap limits the evaporation of the mixture of mother inks contained in the cartridge. The cap can be assembled on the cartridge just after filling the cartridge and removing the cartridge from the device, for example to store the cartridge before its use. Similarly, when part of the mixture of mother inks contained in the cartridge has been used, one may wish to use another cartridge containing another mixture of mother inks. The cartridge is then removed from the writing instrument, a cap is assembled on the cartridge and it is stored until its next use. Brief description of the drawings Other characteristics and advantages of the invention will emerge from the following description of embodiments of the invention, given by way of nonlimiting examples, with reference to the appended figures, in which: - Figure 1 is a schematic representation of an assembly according to the description; - Figure 2 is a simplified representation of the device of Figure 1; - Figure 3 is a perspective view of a cartridge and a cap according to the disclosure. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION FIG. 1 shows a set of a device 10 for filling cartridges 14 for a manual writing instrument, such as a ballpoint pen 12 and a plurality of reservoir 16 of mother ink. The embodiment of FIG. 1 comprises four reservoirs 16 of mother ink. The ballpoint pen 12 operates with an ink cartridge 14 which is inserted into the ballpoint pen 12. The writing instrument is not limited to a ballpoint pen. The writing instrument could be a fountain pen or any other writing instrument operating with an ink cartridge. There is shown in Figure 2 in a simplified manner the device 10 of Figure 1. The device 10 comprises a plurality of connectors 18. Each connector 18 is configured to connect a reservoir 16 of mother ink to the device 10. Each connector 18 comprises an inlet shutter 20 which can take an opening configuration or a connector closing configuration 18. In the embodiment of Figure 2, there is shown three connectors 18 in solid lines. However, as suggested by the fourth connector 18 shown in dotted lines, the device 10 may include a different number of connectors 18, as soon as the number of connectors is greater than or equal to two. In the embodiment of Figure 2, each inlet shutter 20 includes an actuator 22 of the inlet shutter 20, so that the inlet shutter 20 automatically switches from the closed configuration to the opening configuration of the connector 18 when the mother ink tank 16 is connected with the connector 18 and the inlet shutter 20 automatically changes from the opening configuration to the closing configuration of the connector 18 when the disconnection of the mother ink tank 16 with the connector 18. It is understood that the transition from the opening configuration to the closing configuration of the connector, and vice versa, can be carried out by the user. The connectors 18 are in fluid communication with a metering system 24, that is to say that a fluid can flow from the connectors 18 to the metering system 24. The metering system 24 can also act directly on the connector 18 to take a volume of mother ink from the reservoir 16 of mother ink. In the embodiment of Figure 2, the metering system 24 comprises a metering element 26 for each reservoir 16 of mother ink, that is to say that each connector 18 is fluidly connected with an element dosing element 26. The dosing element 26 may for example be a piston with an actuator, a piezoelectric injection head, a thermal injection head or a solenoid valve. The metering system 24 is configured to take a volume of mother ink from each reservoir 16 of mother ink connected to the device 10. It is understood that the metering system 24 may not take a volume of mother ink from all the mother ink tanks 16 connected to the device 10, that is to say that at least one of the volumes of mother ink withdrawn can be equal to zero. FIG. 2 also shows a controller 28 for each metering element 26. It is also conceivable that the metering system includes a controller 26 making it possible to control all the metering elements 26 of the metering system 24. The metering elements 26 may for example be a piston with an actuator, a piezoelectric injection head, a thermal injection head or a solenoid valve. The metering system 24 is in fluid communication with a filling system 30, that is to say that a fluid can flow from the metering system 24 to the filling system 30. The filling system 30 is configured to fill the cartridge 14 with the volumes of mother ink taken from the tanks 16 of mother ink by the metering system 24. The mixing of the mother inks is thus carried out directly in the cartridge 14. It is therefore not necessary to rinse the device 10 when it is desired to fill a cartridge with a different mixture of mother inks. In the embodiment of FIG. 2, the filling system 30 comprises an outlet shutter 32 which can take an opening configuration or a closing configuration of the filling system 30. In the embodiment of Figure 2, the device 10 comprises an actuator 34 of the outlet shutter 32, so that the outlet shutter 32 automatically changes from the closed configuration to the open configuration of the filling system 30 during the connection of a cartridge 14 with the filling system 30 and the outlet shutter 32 automatically changes from the opening configuration to the closing configuration of the filling system 30 when the d 'a cartridge 14 with the filling system 30. It is understood that the transition from the opening configuration to the closing configuration of the filling system, and vice versa, can be carried out by the user. The empty cartridge 14 which is filled with a mixture of mother inks may have a volume greater than or equal to 0.50 ml, preferably greater than or equal to 0.75 ml and less than or equal to 5 ml, preferably less than or equal to 3 mL. The mother inks can be aqueous inks, that is to say inks in which the solvent is water. When the inlet shutters 20 and the outlet shutter 32 are in the open configuration and the tanks 16 of mother ink and the cartridge 14 are connected to the device 10, the tanks 16 of mother ink are connected to the cartridge 14, that is to say that the ink contained in the reservoirs 16 can flow to the cartridge 14. We will describe the method of filling the cartridge 14 with the device 10. In the embodiment of Figure 1, there is shown the device 10 with a cartridge 14 connected to the device 10, in particular with the filling system 30 of the device 10. In addition, four tanks 16 of mother ink are connected to the connectors 18 of the device 10. It is understood that the number of tanks 16 is given by way of nonlimiting example. The metering system 24 takes a volume of mother ink from each reservoir 16 of mother ink connected to the device 10. It is understood that the metering system 24 may not take a volume of mother ink from all the tanks 16 of mother ink connected to the device 10, that is to say that at least one of the volumes of mother ink withdrawn can be equal to zero. The volumes of mother ink withdrawn are sent to the filling system 30 of the device 10 so that the cartridge 14 is filled with the mixture of mother inks. The user can then disconnect the cartridge 14 from the device 10 and insert the cartridge 14 into the writing instrument. It can also assemble a cap 36 on the cartridge 14 in order to avoid the evaporation of the mixture of mother inks contained in the cartridge 14, as shown in FIG. 3. The cap 36 can be assembled on the cartridge 14 by cooperation of internal surfaces of the cap 36 with an external surface of the cartridge 14 or vice versa. When the user wishes to change the ink color in the writing instrument, the user can remove the cartridge 14 containing a first mixture of mother inks and insert a new cartridge containing a second mixture of inks mothers. The user can keep the cartridge 14 containing the first mixture of mother inks and assemble a cap 36 to close the cartridge 14 and prevent or reduce the evaporation of the first mixture of mother inks. For example, by taking a device 10 comprising two connectors 18 and thus two tanks 16 of mother ink of different shade or color, by mixing the mother inks contained in the two tanks 16 of mother ink connected to the connectors 18 in different proportions, that is to say by taking, thanks to the dosing system 24, different volumes of the two mother inks, it is possible to obtain mixtures of mother inks having different colors. Depending on the number of mother ink tanks and the color and saturation of each mother ink, it is thus possible to produce different mixtures of mother inks, by modifying the proportion of each mother ink taken from each tank. The user can thus quickly obtain a cartridge filled with a mixture of mother inks. Although the present description has been described with reference to a specific embodiment, it is obvious that various modifications and changes can be made to these examples without departing from the general scope of the invention as defined by the claims. In addition, individual features of the various embodiments discussed can be combined in additional embodiments. Therefore, the description and the drawings should be considered in an illustrative rather than restrictive sense.
